What is SAACS?
SAACS is the student affiliates of theAmerican Chemical Society (ACS). “If you become a member of SAACS, thenyou will be apart of the world's largest scientific society ACS, anorganization that's more than 158,000 members strong. The ACS providesa multitude of information, educational, financial, technical andprofessional opportunities for its members. The Society's 33 technicaldivisions cover the entire spectrum of the chemical world and the 189Local Sections allows you to participate in local events and meetingsthroughout the year” (www.acs.org).
Who can participate in SAACS?
Undergraduate students majoring in or interested in chemistry, as well as any other sciences all qualify for membership.
